Terms and Conditions for The Sleep Parlor Paediatric Sleep Consulting
1. Introduction
Welcome to The Sleep Parlor! By booking any services provided by The Sleep Parlor ("we," "our," or "us"), you ("client," "you," or "your") agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of our sleep consulting services, including all consultations, sleep plans, follow-up support, and any additional services we offer. Please read these terms carefully before proceeding with your booking.
2. Service Agreement
The Sleep Parlor provides paediatric sleep consulting services designed to support families in improving their children's sleep patterns. The services may include but are not limited to:

3. Booking and Payment
All services are booked through our website or by direct consultation.
Payments for services are due in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise specified in your agreement.
Payments are processed securely through our online payment system.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule a consultation, we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a cancellation fee, which will be determined based on the service package selected.
If you fail to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice, the full service fee will be forfeited.
In the event of a legitimate emergency or unforeseen circumstance, please reach out to us to discuss potential rescheduling options.
5. Confidentiality and Privacy
The Sleep Parlor is committed to protecting your privacy. Any personal information shared during consultations, including your child’s health and sleep information, will remain confidential. We will not disclose any information without your explicit consent, except as required by law.
6. Limitations of Service
While The Sleep Parlor will make every effort to provide personalised and effective solutions, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. The success of sleep training depends on various factors, including your child's temperament, the consistency of your efforts, and your child’s health status. Parents are expected to fully participate in the sleep training process for it to be effective.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding their child’s sleep habits, health conditions, and any other relevant information.
You agree to follow the sleep plan and strategies provided by The Sleep Parlor to the best of your ability and to communicate openly about progress or concerns.
You acknowledge that the sleep training process may take time and that consistency is key to achieving the desired results.
8. In-Home Consultations
For clients who have booked an in-home consultation, we expect the environment to be safe, clean, and conducive to the work we will be doing. Please ensure that pets or any other distractions do not interfere with the consultation process. The Sleep Parlor will not be held liable for any damages to property or persons that occur during the in-home consultation.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Sleep Parlor, including its consultants, is not responsible for any medical conditions, accidents, or injuries that may arise as a result of implementing sleep training strategies. Sleep training is not a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Clients should consult a healthcare professional for any underlying medical conditions that may be affecting their child's sleep.
10. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our services, we do not offer refunds once a consultation has taken place or a service package has been purchased. However, if you are not satisfied with your experience, please contact us, and we will do our best to address your concerns. Refunds or credits will only be considered in exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of The Sleep Parlor.
11. Modifications to Terms and Conditions
The Sleep Parlor reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to clients via email or through our website. By continuing to use our services after such changes are made, you agree to the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of our services will be handled under the jurisdiction of the courts in South Australia.
